Taylor Darrell Concord Monitor Player of the Week!

Updated on 06/10/2022

Taylor Darrell piled up 21 total goals for the Bow High School girls’ lacrosse team, and watched her Falcons surge to first place in Division III to earn the Monitor Player of the Week Award.

Darrell, the pivotal senior midfielder to Bow’s attack, kicked off her week by leading the Falcons to an easy 19-3 win over Belmont with a five-goal, four-assist performance on May 15. Darrell followed that up with a pair of back-to-back incredible efforts in wins over St. Thomas and Laconia.

Darrell scored eight goals in both games, and accounted for 10 of the 12 scores for the Falcons in a critical 12-8 win over the two-time defending champion Sachems.

Newfound softball’s Amanda Johnston, Bow girls’ track’s Dominque Biron and both Concord girls’ lacrosse’s Becca Proulx and Hopkinton girls’ lacrosse’s Amelia Bassett (recorded 100th career goals) were all a close second behind Darrell.
