Player of the Week
Bow High’s Kathleen Jenkins delivered a memorable performance during Saturday’s Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, breaking a pair of school records on her way to being named the Monitor Player of the Week. Jenkins, a junior, set new school marks in the 100 butterfly with a time of 59.13 seconds and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.79, all while leading the Bow girls to a seventh-place overall finish with a score of 73. Jenkins placed inside the top five in both events and also paired with teammates Amanda Sampo, Sonya DeLorie and Riley Hicks to finish fifth in the 200 freestyle relay.
