Battle of JV juggernauts bends Bobcats’ way

Although controlling play for much of the game, the JV Falcons fail to find the back of the net against their Oyster River foe. Capitalizing on a foul in the Falcon 18 yard box, the Bobcats pounce with a well placed PK, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. The junior Falcons are unable to repay their opponents after midfielder Blake Crowell earns a PK for his side by absorbing an NHL-style hip check inside the Oyster River 18 yard box. The Bow PK miss was quickly countered by ORHS netting their 2nd goal at the 65th minute, and the last ball to find the twine. High energy and intense play left both coaches pleased with their team’s effort.
