In a battle of predatory birds, the Falcons regain their trajectory after a demoralizing defeat the day before. Falcons and Hawks draw 4-4. Captain Carter Weiss re-asserts his offensive prowess with 2 goals, the second of which a masterfully struck direct kick from 22 yards out. Top corner, nothing but net. Co-captain Jake Reardon slid his 6 foot 3 inch frame between two Hawk defenders for a nifty redirect on a 35 yard free kick from center back Ryan Dolder. Other center back Liam Miller headed in the game tying goal on a saucy pass from borrowed varsity sophomore Cam Fuchs. In the closing seconds, James Green’s header off a Reardon throw-in dinged dangerously off the crossbar, letting the home team Hawks escape with a tie.
