GILFORD HIGH SCHOOL: 0
A great win, most satisfying as it was our first shutout, and more importantly, ALL of the varsity members contributed on a brisk late summer afternoon. A domineering defense, combined with explosive offensive prowess on the ground and in the air, made for a memorable day. Also noteworthy was the fact that several alumni players from last year's team were present to cheer on their former teammates. This win should serve a springboard for this week's Homecoming contest.
