Lil Falcons lose to Leb 2-1 in third straight loss

A 30 yard chip out of keeper Gabe Abberton’s reach got the Raiders off on the front foot early in the first half. Lebanon doubled their lead on a direct kick that caught the Falcon defenders snoozing on the back line. Though the Bow backs proved stingy throughout the game, that one moment played out to be the difference. Falcon forward Chase Crowell nabs a late goal on a breakaway header beautifully fed to him by center back Clayton Nadzan. 2nd half keeper Trey Catenza kept his boys in it with a superlative breakaway save as the time ticked desperately away for the Falcons.
